Pils and Raina Street in Kraslava are located in the territory of the urban construction monument "Kraslava City Historical Center" and the protection zone of the national architectural monument "Kraslava Castle Building with Park Architecture". As part of another construction project, a low-rise residential building was partially demolished and the foundations were conserved, preserving the boulder walls to the maximum.
A bridge with a viewing platform has been built on the boulder foundations of the building at the same level as the planned sidewalk, with a metal frame structure marking the historical construction volume. The object serves as a tourist viewing and meeting place for Kraslava residents. A viewing area with a clinker brick cover has been built under the viewing platform. The lighting of the viewing platform is connected to the street lighting network and provides for the illumination of the historical walls with remotely programmable RGB spotlights for various light scenarios. It is possible to descend from the viewing area to Janupite.
